For our faculty, staff, and students who are citizens of the United States, voting is part of our civic duty.
Beloit College encourages everyone to be involved in the political process: from being ready to vote in each election to making their voices heard by their representatives.
Students living on campus also have the option to vote absentee in their hometown. Make sure you are registered and request your absentee ballot well in advance. Visit vote.gov to find information about registration in your home state.
Voting early is generally possible at Beloit City Hall, located at 100 State Street, a short walk from campus. Check MyVote Wisconsin for details on early voting opportunities.
Most elections for students residing on campus take place at the First Congregational Church, located just off campus at801 Bushnell St. Some primaries and elections may use other polling places. Check MyVote Wisconsin for details on specific election days.

League of Women Voters (Wisconsin) – The League of Women Voters of the United States encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Vote 411 (Wisconsin) – Launched by the League of Women Voters Education Fund (LWVEF) in October of 2006, VOTE411.org is a “one-stop-shop” for election related information.
